Job DescriptionFrom Veolia Water Tech, we are looking for a person for the position of Physical and Chemical Analysis Technician for Water Samples for our desalination plant located in Barranco de Troya, in Arona, Tenerife.
It is a temporary contract for 32 hours per week. The selected person will be responsible for contributing to the assurance of water quality through physical and chemical analyses, and will have to ensure the integrity of the data and comply with the established quality standards, to support informed decision-making in the management and protection of the water resource.
Responsibilities and tasks:
- Reception and control of water samples.
- Planning and execution of the sampling plan, including sample collection.
- Preparation and maintenance of materials and equipment for physical and chemical analysis.
- Preparation of reagents necessary for analysis.
- Carrying out physical and chemical analyses using techniques such as titration, spectrophotometry, and photometry.
- Inventory management and replenishment of chemicals and reagents.
- Calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Recording and management of analysis data.
- Compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Control of equipment calibrations to ensure the accuracy of results.
- Higher Technical in Laboratory Analysis and Quality Control.
- Organizational skills.
- Data management.
- Office software knowledge.
- English B2.
- Previous experience in industrial laboratory or similar.
- Availability to work four days a week (32 hours per week).
