As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detail in Hazlehurst, MS
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, production-area exteriors, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and delivery activity, and documenting entries and departures in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, facility hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
