(This is NOT a job on a gas or oil pipeline)

General Summary of the Position: Perform tasks involving physical labor on trenchless CIPP pipeline rehabilitation and construction projects. Operate hand and power tools, assist other craft workers.

Essential Functions:

• Perform strenuous manual labor in heavy construction projects
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Cut brush and clear ground around pipes and manholes
• Roll up hoses and lay hoses flat
• Set up and perform traffic control at sites
• Cut pipe ends out of manholes
• Operate hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Follow safety procedures and report issues

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of heavy construction equipment, materials, and safety precautions
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects, walking, standing, and performing strenuous labor
• Dependable with attendance and punctuality

Required Education, Training, and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to obtain CDL
• Willingness to perform manual work following instructions

Work Environment:

• Work near moving machinery and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must lift, push, pull objects, and have good manual dexterity
• Noise levels are loud; good stamina required
