About This Role
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Location and ScheduleHazlehurst, MS.
Monday-Friday 11:15 pm – 7:45 am
Key Responsibilities- Have prior training in preventative maintenance in a production environment and possess excellent mechanical aptitude.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment quickly to minimize downtime.
- Use basic hand tools and various electrical and pneumatic power tools and equipment.
- Read and understand assignments, drawings, and schematics of hydraulic and basic electrical systems.
- Perform welding, cutting, minor electrical repairs, and removal or replacement of motor shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, water and steam pipes, lines, and other systems.
- Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Two years of general and preventative maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, plumbing, and industrial maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand assignments and schematics.
- Willingness to pursue further education through outside training, company testing programs, and vendor training.
