The Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team is on a mission to build next generation solid rocket motors for a safer, more connected world. We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Maintenance Engineer with an electrical focus to support and lead maintenance operations within a high-performance manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a certified electrician with strong industrial experience and working knowledge of HVAC systems who is ready to take on a leadership role. You will play a critical part in ensuring equipment reliability, safety compliance, and operational uptime across both production equipment and facility systems.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians and electricians
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including:
  • 3-phase power (208V, 240V, 480V)
  • Motors, VFDs, PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell preferred)
  • Control panels and instrumentation
  • Maintain and improve critical production equipment such as mixers, dosing systems, cure systems, and inspection equipment
  • Support facility systems, including electrical distribution and HVAC (Daikin or similar systems)
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PM) and drive reliability improvements
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) to reduce downtime and improve system performance
  • Ensure compliance with LOTO, OSHA, and NFPA 70E safety standards
  • Support equipment installation, upgrades, and commissioning projects
  • Work closely with operations and engineering teams to prioritize and execute work
  • Utilize CMMS to manage work orders and maintenance tracking

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Electrician (Journeyman or Master Electrician preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • 3-phase electrical systems
    • Motor controls and troubleshooting
    • PLC basics and control systems
  • Proven ability to lead or mentor others in a maintenance environment
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety and LOTO procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents

Preferred Qualifications

  • HVAC certification (EPA Section 608) or hands-on HVAC experience
  • Experience in high-safety or regulated environments (e.g., chemical, aerospace, energetics)
  • Experience with VFDs, instrumentation, and automation systems
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems

US Salary Range

$59,000 - $78,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
