Location: Fulton

Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking an individual to fill an immediate need for a 2nd Shift Fabrication Manager in our Fulton, MS location. This position will coordinate with welders and fabricators on projects, supervising the progress of the welding and fabrication operations, and ensuring the safety of all workers.

Responsibilities
  • Set the schedule and keep the shop moving.
  • Ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working condition and meet calibration specifications.
  • Keep records and maintain an orderly environment to align with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices, and standard operating procedures.
  • Work from drawings and written instructions to create replacement and new parts, repair metal parts, and produce experimental apparatus or prototype equipment.
  • Supervise and lead the activities of fabrication shop personnel.
  • Utilize proprietary software to list, schedule, and quote fabrication projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and assist in training less experienced machinists.
Qualifications
  • 3 years of direct supervisory/management/leadership experience is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the mechanical contracting or process piping industry.
  • Familiarity with welding and fabrication processes.
  • Knowledge of brazing and welding techniques is a plus but not required.
  • Hands‑on experience and training on pre‑ and post‑heating, surface hardening, and weld inspections.
  • Ability to read prints and illustrate detailed knowledge of pipe fitting procedures and skills.
  • Good problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with individual contributors, teams, peers, and leadership.
Compensation & Benefits

Compensation

  • Pay Range: $3,712.50 – $8,167.50 (Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles).
  • Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
  • Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
