Safety Technician - Longview, TX

Turner Industries Group is looking for a Safety Technician for work in the Longview, TX area. The Field HSE Technician assists in the administration and overall supervision of project safety and accident and fire protection programs to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Non-exempt role;
Reports to the Site Manager / Area Safety Manager;
Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Essential

Qualifications:

• Technical training and/or industrial related safety experience
• Certification preferred
• Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
