Maintenance Tech

Assist the Facilities Department with the Preventative Maintenance Program to support an Automobile assembly facility

Be able to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, plumbing and electrical problems in an efficient and safe manner

Have good problem solving skills, safety practices and attention to quality

Be able to work alone or on a team

Be able to work outside facility or inside facility on about a 50/50 time split

Be able to occasionally lift and/or move 40 to 50 lbs.

Be able to work safely in an aerial lift, on a forklift and on elevated work surfaces (Company training provided)

Be physically able to walk distances, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs and ladders

Be able to maintain a clean and safe work environment using 5S standards

Pass CPR/AED and First Aid Training (Company training provided)

Pass Lockout/Tagout, Fall Protection, PPE Training, and Electrical Safety Training (Company training provided)

Follow all company safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines

Working knowledge of Commercial HVAC units (Operation, filter changes, belt and sheave adjustments, and coil cleaning)

Working knowledge of Industrial Electricity and Lighting

Working knowledge of Industrial Plumbing and Fixtures

Working knowledge of Commercial Dock Levelers and Dock Locks

Working knowledge of Overhead Doors, High Speed Doors and Sectional Doors

Working knowledge of Industrial Supply and Exhaust Fans

Must be able to work Sunday through Thursday from 6am-2:30pm.
