The individual in this role will serve as a SNAP/TANF Eligibility Supervisor in the Rankin County MDHS office, reporting directly to the Rankin County Office Director. This individual will be responsible for ensuring his/her direct reports are knowledgeable of and adhere to federal, state, and agency policies and regulations during the initial and recertification eligibility processes. The individual will also have weekly and monthly reporting responsibilities.

What you'll need to be Successful

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good customer service skills, and an ability to balance a large workload while managing others is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of experience. — Hiring Agency Prefers:

A minimum of two (2) years' experience in determining SNAP and/or TANF eligibility and a minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience are required.
