Location: Lake Nona, Florida (Remote)

Duration: 12 month contract with likely extensions

Rate: $60-70/hr. on w2

Authorization: Candidates must be able to work directly on our w2 without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

We are seeking a senior-level C# Developer to assist with troubleshooting, analysis, and development across various applications. The role involves working with legacy Microsoft code, integrating applications using API services, and contributing to multiple ongoing projects. This position is more project-focused than support-oriented and offers an opportunity to work on a long-term, multi-year engagement.

• Troubleshoot and analyze existing codebases to identify and resolve issues.
• Review and refactor legacy code to improve performance and maintainability.
• Develop and integrate applications written in C#/.NET with various enterprise systems.
• Create and manage both Enterprise and Microservices using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Contribute to Azure-based development, including work with Azure Service Bus and Azure Dev Ops.
• Interface with proprietary and COTS applications, such as Coupa for purchasing.
• Participate in an Agile-like environment, working within three-week sprints.

Experience: 8-10 years of professional C#/.NET development experience.

• Proficiency in modular and object-oriented programming for C# with the .NET Framework (version 4.5 and up), including .NET Core.
• Experience creating API services (Enterprise & Micro) using both REST and SOAP.
• Knowledge of Azure, including Azure Dev Ops and Azure Service Bus.
• Experience with Cosmo DB.
• Familiarity with web services (primarily REST), ASP.NET MVC or Core, and basic SQL.
• Experience with testing tools such as Selenium and Postman.

• Knowledge of older .NET framework versions (3 and
  4).
• Experience in the financial industry.
• Familiarity with JIRA and Oracle Cloud.

This role is part of a dynamic team that includes Business Analysts, Automation Engineers, and UI developers. The team operates in a hybrid environment that is moving towards a more formal Agile methodology. The successful candidate should be a team-oriented individual with strong communication skills, confidence, and the ability to take initiative on projects.
