The Distribution Center Equipment Operator is responsible for safely and accurately removing and/or storing inventory using heavy equipment machinery. Equipment Operators will operate cross-functionally throughout the distribution center to ensure efficient running of the distribution center in order to meet customer needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Operate forklift equipment - Order pickers, dock stockers, reach trucks and walkie riders. Will also use a scanner
- Transport to storage, putaway-case reserve, putaway
- Consolidate/Palletize inbound and outbound shipments
- Pick and stage full case/bulk inventories
- Load and unload trucks
- Transport resolutions to designated area.
- 6 months of experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be forklift certified
