Your Role
As an Inbound Marshall (all genders), you will ensure that our inbound processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You will coordinate incoming deliveries, manage vehicle traffic, and ensure that all goods are accepted, unloaded, and assigned to the correct areas on time.
In this role, you will be the central interface between logistics partners, drivers, and our warehouse and operations teams. With your organizational talent, solution-oriented approach, and attention to detail, you will contribute significantly to ensuring a trouble-free material flow and successfully shaping our daily operations.
Please note: The position is initially for 12 months. A subsequent transition to a permanent employment contract is intended.
Your Responsibilities- You will coordinate incoming vehicle traffic, conduct check-ins of drivers, and efficiently assign loading and unloading gates.
- You will ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and site requirements.
- You will plan and coordinate deliveries and delivery schedules to ensure smooth flow of goods and minimize delays.
- You will work closely with our warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely unloading and acceptance of goods.
- You will be the first point of contact for logistics partners, drivers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring professional and solution-oriented communication.
- You will monitor incoming deliveries, identify deviations early, and initiate appropriate measures if necessary.
- You will document inbound processes meticulously and create meaningful reports.
- You will contribute ideas and actively support the continuous optimization of our inbound processes.
- You have initial or several years of experience in logistics, transport, or warehouse operations.
- You work in a structured, organized manner and keep an overview even with multiple tasks running simultaneously.
- You impress with a meticulous approach, a strong organizational talent, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- You communicate confidently and service-oriented with logistics partners, drivers, and internal teams.
- You remain calm in a dynamic work environment and set priorities confidently.
- Ideally, you have experience with warehouse management or logistics systems (WMS).
- You bring a hands-on mentality and a high level of customer and service orientation.
- Teamwork is natural for you, and you enjoy working cross-functionally with various stakeholders.
- Reliability, responsibility, and the consistent adherence to safety and quality standards characterize you.
- You enjoy questioning existing processes and actively contributing to continuous improvement.
