Position Summary
Drives a transit mixer truck equipped with an auxiliary concrete mixer to deliver concrete mix and other related construction products to job sites. $2500 Hiring Bonus!
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAbide by the Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely.
Perform daily pre- and post-trip safety checks on equipment and truck to ensure a safe vehicle. Document any maintenance needed.
Back or drive truck to loading hopper, prepare mixer to receive concrete, following guidelines and instructions from dispatch personnel.
Drive truck to designated job sites for unloading, distinguishing between safe and unsafe conditions at the site, in traffic, and throughout plant areas.
Assemble concrete chute, attach it to the back of the truck, and control appropriate levers to discharge concrete according to contractor specifications into a wheelbarrow, other container, or the concrete pour area.
Wash out truck at the job site and replace chute after delivery to prevent concrete hardening inside the mixer.
Spray surfaces of truck with protective compound as needed to prevent concrete adherence.
Perform minor maintenance on the assigned vehicle—tire pressure, oil change, lube job—as needed.
When workload is light, assist with plant maintenance, yard cleanup, pallet repair, and other assigned duties.
Position Requirements and Education- High school diploma or GED.
- A Class B CDL or willingness to obtain one during onboarding.
- A valid Nebraska driver’s license meeting company insurance program insurability requirements.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, city directories, Trakit GPS device, road maps, load tickets, SDS sheets, and memos.
- Ability to meet DOT physical requirements and maintain a current physical exam card per DOT guidelines.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and to talk or hear.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds to shoulder height.
Must be able to lift, place, and set warehouse products as required during load preparation, loading, and unloading.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusted focus.
Must wear protective devices as required by the company safety policy.
Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, non-hazardous dust, daily fumes, or other airborne particles.
Occasional exposure to high and precarious places requiring balance.
This is a tobacco‑free campus and work location.
