POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Lead directs the logistics efforts of the distribution center and assists with loading and unloading product in the warehouse, and performing other material handling operations as needed.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Protect the accuracy, integrity, and salability of inventory entrusted to us, through adherence to standard operating procedures and meeting physical inventory and/or cycle count accuracy expectations.
- Direct appropriate warehousing team.
- Run all necessary reports to determine effective action to maximize building capacity.
- Complete all required documentation on inbound and outbound documents.
- Read and understand general instructions and prepare written reports.
- Understand and use company’s warehouse management system and time‑keeping system.
- Handle all products according to customer and employer procedures.
- Communicate changes in extraordinary handling procedures to office personnel and complete warehouse worksheet.
- Communicate and advise Supervisor of operational issues that may involve other departments.
- Understand company goals and work to create an environment for success.
- Support company safety, quality, and productivity initiatives.
- Interact with various levels of local management concerning daily activities.
- Comply with all other procedures outlined in the Operations & Procedure Manual.
- Communicate effectively with Transportation, Warehouse, Management, Co‑workers, and Customers.
- Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent education/work experience preferred.
- 3–5+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, AS400, data entry and previous experience with web‑based applications preferred.

Physical & Mental Requirements
- Hear, read and comprehend, write, and communicate.
- Continuously sit, type, and perform repetitive wrist motion.
- Occasionally stand, walk, bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn or reach.
- Focus (with or without corrective lenses) to see close and distant, along with depth perception capabilities.
- Work with material handling equipment that must be operated according to specific operating procedures.
- Spend 70–80% of time on warehouse floor in fast‑paced environment.
