Logistics Systems & Warehouse Operations Specialist
Location: Tupelo, Mississippi
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $69,400 - $84,600
We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Systems & Warehouse Operations Specialist to support and optimize warehouse operations through advanced logistics systems, real-time inventory visibility, and continuous process improvement. This position serves as the primary resource for warehouse systems, ensuring operational efficiency, data accuracy, and seamless communication between warehouse personnel, operations leadership, and IT.
The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, supply chain management, and logistics systems such as ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms. This individual will proactively monitor warehouse performance, identify opportunities for improvement, develop standardized processes, and help drive operational excellence through technology and data-driven decision-making.

Essential Responsibilities- Monitor and coordinate daily warehouse and internal logistics operations to ensure efficient material flow.
- Serve as the primary warehouse systems expert and first point of contact for operational and system-related issues.
- Monitor real-time operational data to identify, investigate, and resolve workflow exceptions before they impact production or customer service.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of warehouse, transportation, and inventory data.
- Create, update, and maintain process documentation, workflow diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Develop and deliver training for warehouse employees on system functionality and operational best practices.
- Analyze operational KPIs to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements or automation opportunities.
- Partner with operations, engineering, IT, and third-party vendors during software implementations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead projects focused on improving warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and supply chain performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
- 1–2 years of experience supporting warehouse systems or serving as a key system user.
- Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- SAP S/4
HANA or other ERP systems - Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query)
- Power BI or Tableau
- Supply chain visibility platforms
- Process mapping and workflow documentation
- KPI reporting and operational analytics
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
- Other logistics or supply chain certifications
- Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments.
- Frequent computer and keyboard use.
- Occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods as required.
