Competitive Pay Based on Experience Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator / Equipment Material Handler to join our warehouse operations team in Byhalia, MS. The Equipment Material Handler is responsible for the accurate and efficient completion of order fulfillment activities while ensuring product quality, inventory accuracy, and workplace safety. This role involves operating material handling equipment, transporting products, staging shipments, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Accurately select, identify, verify, and transport products throughout the warehouse.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products.
• Perform order fulfillment tasks according to customer and company requirements.
• Verify product quantities and condition prior to shipment.
• Label, scan, and prepare products for shipping.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper product placement and documentation.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operation experience preferred.
• Valid forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain certification).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Basic math and inventory tracking skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials.
• Ability to work on concrete floors for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
