The Payroll Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Missoula, MT, responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll operations for multiple clients. This role includes processing regular and off-cycle payrolls, maintaining accurate payroll records, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Day-to-day tasks involve managing employee data changes, coordinating with clients on payroll schedules, resolving payroll discrepancies, and handling inquiries related to pay and benefits.

The Payroll Manager will also collaborate with the bookkeeping and tax teams to ensure payroll data is correctly integrated into financial reports and tax filings, while supporting process improvements and documentation.

• Strong expertise in Payroll Administration and Payroll Management, including multi-client or multi-entity environments.
• Knowledge of Garnishments and Payroll Taxes, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations.
• Experience managing Employee Benefits as they relate to payroll, such as deductions, contributions, and accruals.
• Proficiency with payroll software and spreadsheet tools; ability to learn new systems quickly.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach to client and employee support.
• Ability to work on-site in Missoula, MT, and collaborate with a cross-functional team.
