PositionDescription:
The Administrative Assistant performs the overall front office operations of the business. We are looking for an individual who is experienced in medical billing.
A typical day may include:- Answering phones and greeting clients
- Maintaining client records and confidentiality
- Being able to accurately use medical billing software and including some medical coding knowledge
- Collecting money from clients and entering deposits
- Update daily reports for billing purposes
- Assist in filing client paperwork
- Adherence to office policies and procedures
- Review and reconcile office supply inventory
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment
- Assist in special projects for CEO, Managing Partners and other Company Leadership
- Two years of experience in a similar position and/or Associate’s Degree
- One year or more experience in medical billing
- Accurate, organized and detailed reporting according to CMS policies.
- Proficient skills with software systems, databases, invoicing documentation and spreadsheets.
- Ability to multi – task and stay organized
- Must have valid driver’s license and be willing to use personal automobile and accept reimbursement for mileage. Personal automobile must be reliable.
- Follow through on projects with ability to set and maintain deadlines
- Working in Social Service field or Criminal Justice
- 40 hours per week Monday – Friday – 8 AM – 5 PM
- Six months
- Upon completion-performance review and raise based on performance

The position requires the following:
- 100% sitting while using computer and completing office work
- $17 - $19 hourly base pay
- Part-time employment
