The Construction Laborerisresponsibleforperforminggenerallaborerdutiesatvariousresidential ,commercial,and/orindustrialjobsitelocations,includingtheorganizationofmaterials,cleanupduties,andassistingthe

Carpenters.

Thispositionworksunderthedirectsupervisionofthe Foreman.

• Obtainsdailyworkinstructionsanddeterminesworktobedone.
• Retrieves supplies and materials for the Carpenters.
• Assists with performing concrete work setup and disassembly.
• Cuts framing material and other materials using saws.
• Grades lumber.
• Keeps all materials on project organized.
• Assists in framing duties.
• Safely sets up staging, scaffolding, and ladders.
• Assists with prepping and sanding materials for staining/painting.
• Maintains and cleans all powertools, handtools, and other equipment.
• Keeps job site trailer and supplies organized.
• Loads and unloads materials and supplies from trucks/trailers at job sites.
• Packs material to specific areas at the construction site as needed.
• Performs housekeeping and keeps work area clean throughout the project and removes trash and debris. Will shovel, sweep, and pickup materials by hand.

• Previousconstructionexperiencepreferred
• Basicunderstandingoftheresidentialbuildingconstructionprocess
• Valid driver’slicenseand/orreliabletransportationtojobsites
• Mustprovidebasichandtools;specialtytoolsandequipmentareprovidedbytheemployer
• Abilitytounderstandandfollowverbalandwritteninstructionsin English
