In the role of Bridge Project Manager, we'll count on you to:
* Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline engineering projects or large, routine projects
* Foster and develop client relationships for yourself and your staff
* Independently coordinate work of engineers and balance planning team throughout entire project's development
* Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
* Track financial aspects of projects and coordinate or adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule
* Collaborate with peers and team members to create a cohesive practice
* Perform complex structural planning, analysis and design for all structural aspects of transportation projects to ensure completion of documents on schedule
* Work on projects that typically include bridge (steel plate girder, prestress concrete, segmental and cable-stayed), box culvert, and interchange design for highway projects
* Select standard bridge engineering/design procedures, develop structural details using specialized structural design and analysis software, and perform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity development
* Review, assign work and/or check design calculations, estimates, and specifications produced by junior engineers and EITs
* Mentor younger staff and support continued development
* Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Engineering
* A minimum 2 years project management experience
* PMP certification
* Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Micro Station, AutoCAD, MathCAD, LARSA
* Experience mentoring junior staff
* Proficiency with seismic design and detailing of bridges
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering
* 7 years related experience inclusive of a minimum 2 years experience in project management
* Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example:
Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
* MS Office and MS Project experience is required
* Demonstrated leadership skills
