  • Coordinate contractor safety activities including permit‑to‑work systems, energy control coordination, barricading/red zone control, and high‑risk work oversight.
  • Support emergency preparedness systems including gas detection, alarm response, spill response, evacuation planning, and fire/life safety coordination.
Qualifications & Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5–7 years of progressive EHS experience in construction, manufacturing, chemical, or high‑hazard industries.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical hazard communication, PPE, ventilation controls, and process safety principles.
  • Experience supporting high‑hazard manufacturing, chemical processing, metals, energy, or similar industrial operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with combustible dust hazards, reactive materials, industrial ventilation, gas systems, and process safety concepts preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects, inspections, corrective actions, and training systems simultaneously.
