About The Role
Position provides consumer lending services to customers. As needed/assigned, position assists customers with a full range of deposit related accounts while counseling customers on other bank products and provides backup/services related to opening and maintaining personal/business checking and/or savings accounts, and other bank products and services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform consumer lending duties by originating and/or renewing loans, performing thorough review and credit analysis of applicant/borrower's financial condition and ability to repay the loan, performing an evaluation of loan structure, assist to perform duties related to renegotiation of changes to loan, maintaining contact with individuals involved with loans in process, assist with administration of loans, and work with collectors on past dues and delinquencies.
Administer the loan to include overdraft monitoring, field audits and inspections, financial statement analysis, review and monitor compliance to the loan agreements. Perform periodic review of loan documentation and collateral evaluation, including any necessary borrowing base analysis.
Assist customers with all deposit and related accounts and services for both individuals and businesses, cross-sell, and/or refer customers to other areas of the bank (e.g., cash management, merchant processing, credit card, etc.).
Contact and/or work with collectors to resolve past dues and delinquencies. Comply with the initiation of watch-listed credit that represents deterioration from the original repayment terms.
In conjunction with others, effectively address and resolve customer inquiries and problems to ensure they are handled in an efficient and expedient manner.
Position may be required, as determined by supervisor/management, to provide notary services at the bank.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Maintain strict confidentiality of customer's personal and financial information.
Develop and improve skills through training programs and regular feedback discussions with supervisors which help further professional development. Participate in all training sessions and complete all assigned OnCourse compliance courses and achieve a passing score by due date.

Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance to accomplish essential job functions including in-person contact with internal and external customers.
Support Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) through business development efforts.
Position performs other duties as needed/assigned.
About YouQUALIFICATIONS:
Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
A two-year college degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Must possess current valid driver's license.
Position is required to register and maintain current Mortgage Loan Originator registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) as required by law.
