Director Solutions Architecture

We are seeking a highly experienced, client-facing Solutions Director with deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a solid understanding of the localization industry. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering intelligent solutions that enable AI centric scalable, efficient, and high-quality multilingual content workflows for global enterprises.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, engineering, sales, and operations to architect advanced solutions leveraging AI/ML, NLP, LLMs, and automation technologies tailored to address our clients’ global content and localization goals.

Responsibilities

• Support sales teams in presales and client engagements including requirements gathering, solution exploration, technical scoping, client workshops.
• Translate client objectives and requirements into robust and feasible AI-centric architectural blueprints.
• Design end-to-end solutions that incorporate AI capabilities into global content workflows.
• Develop architecture patterns integrating AI and enterprise localization programs.
• Guide the evaluation and integration of AI/ML technologies, including LLMs, neural machine translation (NMT), and custom NLP models into business solutions.
• Drive the development of proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and prototypes for AI-driven multilingual global content and localization concepts.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with clients to understand our clients’ organizational objectives and explore and conceptualize innovative AI-driven solutions.
• Partner with program managers, technical operations, development, language services, and other relevant business functions to align and strategize on business goals and solutions.

Technical Leadership

• Advise on data security, performance, and compliance considerations of proposed solutions.
• Stay current with AI and language technology advancements and assess their applicability to localization and global content.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 3+ years in AI/ML technologies.
• Strong experience in the localization industry, including working with or integrating TMS, MT, and related systems.
• Solid understanding of LLMs, NLP, NMT, and generative AI (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, spaCy, Tensor Flow).
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and system integration patterns, experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proven track record of architecting AI-enabled solutions, ideally in the content or language technology sector.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multilingual AI models and training/fine-tuning custom language models.
• Knowledge of industry standards (XLIFF, TMX, TBX) and localization best practices.
• Experience with content and authoring platforms (e.g., CMS, DAM, CRM) and associated localization workflows.
• Qualification in AI and/or Machine Learning.
