Position: (Montana Site) Daily's Premium Meats Sanitation Trainer
SUMMARY: Responsible for developing the knowledge and skills of Daily's workforce. Ensure that the company has a workforce that can meet its current and future objectives, and deliver quality products and services that meet customers' and employees' needs. By developing skills and helping individuals reach their potential, help to build employee satisfaction, making it easier for our company to attract and retain a quality workforce.

May also serve as a Sanitation crew in all stages of sanitation/development by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following:
Other duties may be assigned. Follow proper department procedures outlined in Daily's training manuals:

To create and maintain proper training documentation that will help to reflect the proficiency of the training process.

Evaluate the competence level of individual trainees so that they can work with employees with different knowledge and skill levels. So they can create a plan for how they will be most proficiently trained and progress through the training program.

To work closely with trainees to ensure that they can adequately perform the job duties.

Ensure that the proper safety procedures are known for each position and to train employees to perform the job in a safe and productive manner.

Help to create and maintain a positive work environment to help retain and attract to our workforce.

Work closely with supervisors and HR to establish training objectives and to relay progress back to them.

Follow procedures outlined by Department Supervisor/Department Leads.

Follow Daily's attendance and punctuality rules.

Follow all Daily's food security guidelines.

Follow all Daily's Safety guidelines as outlined in the Safety Handbook.

Assist Department Supervisor and Team Members in meeting production and quality requirements by doing the following. (Additional duties may be assigned). Strict compliance with sanitation requirements.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the work environment, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required or preferred.   • Have comprehensive knowledge of the positions that are to be trained so that they can communicate the correct information and handle any questions from the trainee.
  • Must be capable of creating a positive learning environment, conveying objectives clearly, encouraging and motivating trainees, and evaluating learning outcomes.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with trainees and supervisors.
  • Ability to work with all competency levels while maintaining a positive work environment and attitude.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos preferred. Ability to write simple correspondence preferred. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and management.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee must be able to stand/walk 100% of shift, must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, occasionally lift up to 40 pounds and sometimes push/and or move up to 100 pounds. Must be able to work with both left and right arms/hands for reaching, grasping and fine manipulation. Must be able to bend, kneel and squat with body.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to cold, wet and/or humid conditions.
