** The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading integrated marketing, public relations, and communications efforts for the hotel, with a strong emphasis on media relations, experiential storytelling and destination partnership engagement. This role oversees the planning and execution of press itineraries, media visits, influencer stays and brand partnerships while managing ongoing marketing channels, collateral and digital platforms.
The Marketing Manager serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, destination partners and third-party public relations agencies, ensuring consistent brand alignment, thoughtful guest and media experiences, and effective follow-up on press correspondence and deliverables. This position supports Director of Marketing & Communications in advancing brand visibility, reputation and revenue-driving initiatives.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with destination partners such as Visit Big Sky, Big Sky Resort, and local experience providers to curate cohesive, elevated itineraries.
Support earned media initiatives by aligning internal teams, destination partners, and agencies on timing, messaging, and experience execution.
*** QUALIFICATIONS
* *** High school or equivalent education required.
* Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
* 2-5 years experience in marketing, advertising, and branding.
* Experience with an ad agency or in a similar capacity in hotel industry.
* Computer proficiency and strong administrative abilities.
* Must be on site in Big Sky, MT. This is an on property role.
*** PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
*** Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 5 hours per day. Walking and standing are required the rest of the working day. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
