Status/FTE: TPD / 0.2 FTE

Shift length: 12 hours

Start Time: 1900

Unit: ICU

Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays):
Minimum of 12 shifts per 12 weeks or 3‑month evaluation period. Including two weekend shifts (may be non‑consecutive) per three‑month evaluation period. Also, two holidays per year to include one winter and one summer holiday.

• Current state RN license
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
• BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
• ACLS required within six months of hire
• One year of ICU experience

• BSN
• Experience in critical care
• Previous experience with Intra Aortic Balloon Pump, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy
• CCRN certification

The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patient from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the critical care setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor, and positive role model for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in all procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents related to critical care.
