Registered Nurse – NICU (Travel Contract)

Missoula, Montana

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment

• Provide direct patient care in a Level 3 NICU setting with variable patient ratios (1:1, 2:1, or 3:1) depending on acuity
• Monitor, assess, and document neonatal patient status using established clinical protocols and the facility's electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, including transport and pediatric specialists, to coordinate patient care
• Adhere to all unit policies, safety standards, and Joint Commission accreditation requirements
• Float to other units within the facility's designated service area as required

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Minimum of 1–2 years of NICU nursing experience
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced neonatal care environment
• Willingness to float within a 25-mile radius of the primary facility as needed

• Experience working in a Level 3 NICU or similarly complex neonatal care environment
• Familiarity with neonatal transport protocols and coordination with flight transport services
• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or specialty setting

• Work within a leading regional healthcare organization that is Joint Commission Accredited and recognized for excellence in pediatric and neonatal services
• Gain experience in a teaching hospital environment with a robust, collaborative care team serving western Montana
