Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical
$20,000 Sign‑on Bonus with two‑year commitment to the role. Open to external applicants not previously employed by CMC within the last 9 months.
Position:
Full time (FT) 0.8‑1.0 FTE.
Shift length: 12 hours. Start time: 19:00. Unit:
Med/Surg.
Schedule:
Three 12‑hour shifts per week, including every third weekend, holidays per contract.
- Current state RN license
- Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
- ACLS and NIHSS within three months of hire
- One year of acute care experience
- BSN preferred
- Two to three years of acute care experience
- Med/Surg certification
The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for acute patients from admission through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients, acts as patient advocate, leader, and mentor for support personnel. Applies clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents, managing patient loads within assigned timelines.
