Position Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Weekender
Location:
Community Medical Center, Missoula, MT
Annual Sign‑On Bonus: $20,000 (requires two‑year commitment).
ScheduleFull‑time, 0.8‑1.0 FTE. 12‑hour shifts starting at 1900. 3 12‑hour shifts per week, including weekends and holidays.
Core Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for acute patients from admission to discharge or transfer.
- Provide expert nursing care and education to patients in the clinical setting.
- Advocate for patients, lead, and mentor assistive personnel.
- Apply knowledge of clinical procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacology.
- Manage patient loads within assigned timelines.
- Current state RN license.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider on hire.
- ACLS and NIHSS within three months of hire.
- Minimum one year of acute care experience.
- BSN degree.
- Two to three years of acute care experience.
- Med/Surg certification.
- Sign‑on bonus.
- $5.00/night shift differential.
- $3.50/weekend premium.
- Charge RN and certification pay if eligible.
