Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Weekender
$20,000 Sign-on Bonus with a two‑year commitment to the role.
Status/FTE: Full Time (0.8–1.0)
Shift length: 12 hours
Start Time: 1900
Unit: Med/Surg
Schedule: Three (3) 12‑hour shifts per week. All weekends required.
Qualifications- Current state RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
- ACLS and NIHSS within three (3) months of hire
- One (1) year of acute care experience
- BSN preferred
- Two (2) to Three (3) years of acute care experience
- Med/Surg certification
The RN utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care of acute patients from admission to discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel, and manages patient loads within assigned timelines.
