Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our surgical services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both labor and delivery, as well as postpartum care, to provide exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
- Monitor patients throughout the labor process and provide support during delivery.
- Ensure proper care and support for postpartum patients.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort at all times.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred. - Ability to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility as needed.
