Position: Labor and Delivery RN (Travel Nurse)
Location: Missoula, Montana
Start Date: 07/27/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hour days
Employment Type: Travel

• Assist physicians with epidurals or pain medication administration.
• Support patients during episiotomies and prepare for cesarean delivery.
• Monitor labor progression, including contractions and cervical dilation.
• Perform breathing technique coaching for laboring patients.
• Maintain hygiene by cleaning birthing areas and disposing of bodily fluids.
• Assist with drapes, gloves, gowns, and delivery instruments.
• Provide immediate care to newborns after delivery.

• 3 years of recent acute care experience.
• Valid ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong coping skills for a fast‑paced environment and ability to interact with people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
