LPN Instructor

CNA Instructor (NATP Program - Lab & Clinical) Minimum Years of Experience

1 year (preferred)

Unincumbered RN or LPN/LVN License through the state of Montana

Under the direction of the Administrator and supervision of the NATP Program Coordinator, the Instructor will provide hands-on training and supervision in accordance with Montana state NATP requirements.

Students complete the didactic (online) portion of the course remotely and require in-person lab and clinical instruction at an approved healthcare facility.

• Active, unencumbered RN or LPN license in Montana
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, nursing home is preferred
• Experience in supervising certified nursing assistants
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality

• Knowledge and experience working with culturally diverse and special populations.
• Professional attitude and appearance to encompass confidential information.
• Effectively operate office equipment and apply computer skills.
• Understands the general principles of health education.
• Assure compliance with regulatory agencies.

• Set up and provide in-person lab instruction
• Supervise students during clinical rotations
• Evaluate student skills and competencies
• Maintain accurate attendance and clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with Montana state regulations
• Communicate student progress with program leadership
