Sign-on Bonus: $20,000 with a two year commitment. Open to external applicants who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.
Status/FTE: FT / 0.8-1.0
Shift length: 12 hours
Start Time: 0700
Unit: ICU
Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays):
Three 12-hour shifts each week and every third weekend.
- Current state RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
- ACLS required within six months of hire
- One year of ICU experience required
- BSN
- Experience in critical care
- Previous experience with Intra Aortic Balloon Pump, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy
- CCRN certification
The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the critical care setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor, and positive role model for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in all procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents related to critical care.
