Registered Nurse (RN) ICU
Sign-on bonus: $20,000 with a two (2) year commitment to the role. Open to external applicants who have not been employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.
DetailsStatus/FTE: FT / 0.8-1.0 / Weekends
Shift length: 12 hours
Start Time: 1900
Unit: ICU
Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Three 12-hour night shifts each week and every third weekend
QualificationsRequired qualifications:
- Current state RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
- ACLS required within six months of hire
- ICU experience required
Preferred qualifications:
- BSN
- Experience in critical care
- Previous experience with Intra Aortic Balloon Pump, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy, Impella
- CCRN certification
Additional Information / Department information: The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the critical care setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor, and role model for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents related to critical care.
