Navigator RN - Chemotherapy

Overview

The Nurse Navigator/ Chemotherapy Infusion Nurse will provide support and coordination across the whole care continuum for oncology patients. Duties include education, enrollment, care coordination, and treatment administration while working collaboratively with the health‑care team.

• Provide disease‑specific education and information to patients and families.
• Navigate patients through the health‑care system, including referrals and access to diagnostic and treatment procedures.
• Share knowledge regarding treatment options and expeditiously facilitate access to care.
• Connect patients with appropriate resources such as social work, financial counseling, chaplaincy, dietetics, and volunteers.
• Offer ongoing support to patients and families, addressing all concerns regarding care access.
• Collaborate with physicians, oncology teams, pharmacists, nurses, and caregivers to implement and evaluate treatment plans.
• Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies, monitoring patient responses, managing side effects, and providing education and emotional support.
• Ensure safe and effective treatment delivery in coordination with the oncology team.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Montana Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS credential (American Heart Association) upon hire.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• At least 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in an oncology setting.
• Chemo certification.

Pay range: $40.37 – $62.66 per hour (base rate). Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, shift incentives, or bonuses.
