PositionThe role of the Garden Specialist is to support greenhouse operations and garden bed maintenance.

- Keep detailed greenhouse records in Excel.
- Harvest produce for Food and Beverage .
- Trim and clean produce.
- Apply fertilizer, pest , and disease treatments to greenhouse plants .
- Wash and sanitize tools, growing containers, and workstations.
- Start seeds and transplant seedlings when ready.
- Collect and properly store seeds.
- Propagate plants using sterile tools and proper technique.
- Hand pollinate flowers .
- Amend soil in raised beds.
- Dispose of waste and plant matter.
- Identify pests and diseases on landscape plants.
- Assist Landscaping team when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Assist in organizing and carrying out spring planting.
- Replace damaged landscape plants when necessary.
- Water outdoor planters daily while removing weeds and dead flowers.
- Routinely apply deer and rabbit repellent to planters.
- Assist with holiday light deployment and removal.
- Assist in snow removal.
- Display hospitality and professionalism to our guests and team members at all times , take pride in representing Paws Up Montana professionally with our guests and assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal , ethical , and confidential manner.
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all Resort team members to foster and promote a positive working environment.
- Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times.
- Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner.
High school diploma, GED or vocational training, or job-related course work
Previous landscaping or horticulture experience
Experience with Microsoft Excel
Valid State Driver’s License
