Schedule:
Fri-Mon 8a-6p

• Actively participate in the training and supervision of consumer workers assigned to any area of the store. Complete daily paperwork required for all assigned consumers.
• Participate in the routine operations of the Missoula Thrift Store such as stocking, organizing, and replenishing merchandise on racks and shelves. This also includes assisting with the teaching of activities such as social skills building.
• Ability to pass and maintain Flathead Industries training sequence, which includes First-Aid, CPR, MANDT(management of non-aggressive adults with disabilities), Accuflo E-Learning, PSP 101, Foundations, Chaperone and/or Customer service training. In Addition, must obtain State mandated Medication Certification, and College of Direct Supports.
• Assist in assessing, implementing, documenting and evaluating actions and action plans, including behavioral programs. Collect and record program data for consumers. Record and analyze periodic case notes.
• Complete work shift logs and follow supervision protocols for specific individuals.
• Assist with providing safety training to consumers. Observe all safety rules and follow safe job procedures. Assist in creating and maintaining a clean, appealing, and rich environment in the retail and/or processing area of the store.
• Be willing and able to cross-train in the all areas of the store.
• Communicate information effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Assist in maintaining working relationships with families, guardian and advocates of the consumers, with neighborhood residents, with co-workers, and with representatives of public service agencies. Assist in the coordination of sales promotions, special activities, and merchandise displays.
• Exhibit and practice good work habits, including honesty, punctuality and the ability to organize and manage time and information. Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Provides exceptional customer service as shown by respectful and friendly interactions and a commitment to providing satisfaction with each job or retail experience.
• Assist in maintaining compliance of assigned facility and services to standards prescribed by Flathead Industries, the State Department of Public Health and Human Services, and any and all licensing agencies.
• Perform basic mathematical computations to balance petty cash fund, count money and calculate raw data summaries. This would also include the running of the store cash register.
• Operation of computer, e.g. documentation, word processing, spreadsheet usage, general email and internet accessing.
• Ability to manipulate, lift and carry up to 50 + lbs. and lift to/from floor to/from shoulder level.
• May work at outlying stores or weekends, as needed.
