Role DescriptionThis is a part‑time Soil Cycle Cyclist role based in Missoula, MT. The Soil Cycle Cyclist is responsible for using a bicycle or other human‑powered means to collect organic waste and compost materials from residences, businesses, and community partners. Daily tasks include following assigned routes, safely transporting materials, and delivering them to designated processing or composting locations. The role also involves basic sorting and handling of materials, maintaining equipment, and communicating respectfully with customers and community members.
Team members may assist with educational outreach, events, and workshops that promote Soil Cycle’s mission and sustainability practices.
- Candidates should possess strong physical stamina, comfort with cycling for extended periods, and the ability to safely operate human‑powered transportation in varied weather conditions.
