Advantage Asphalt Paving LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Heavy Equipment Operator with asphalt paving experience to join our field operations team. This position plays a key role in producing smooth, consistent, high-quality asphalt surfaces on residential, commercial, and government projects.

The ideal candidate has experience operating asphalt paving equipment such as screeds, pavers, rollers, loaders, or related heavy equipment, understands grade and mat control, and works efficiently as part of a paving crew to deliver top-tier results on every job.

• Operate heavy equipment including asphalt paver, screed, roller, loader, or related paving equipment.
• Achieve proper grade, slope, and mat thickness during paving operations.
• Work closely with the foreman and crew to maintain smooth, consistent asphalt surfaces.
• Make necessary equipment adjustments during paving.
• Monitor material flow, temperature, and surface quality.
• Assist with setup, breakdown, and daily equipment maintenance.
• Follow all company safety policies and jobsite procedures.
• Support additional sitework tasks as needed to keep projects moving efficiently.

• 3+ years of asphalt paving or heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Experience operating screed, paver, roller, or similar equipment strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of asphalt paving techniques, grade, and mat control.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively under pressure.
• Safety-minded with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude.
• Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus but not required).

• $30.00 – $36.00 per hour (DOE)
