Window Covering Installer

Pay: $22 - $26.00 per hour

We are seeing seeking a full-time professional installer of window coverings for a full-time position (30-40 hours a week).

• Install blinds, shades, shutters and other window treatments.
• Perform window treatment repairs.
• Communicate with customers.
• Maintain proper installation paperwork.
• Clean job site premises of any installation debris, dust, etc
• Help organize window covering orders and installation materials in the shop.
• Use simple computer programs (email).

• Prior general workmanship skills from any industry.
• Self-directed and able to work independently and work as a valuable team player.
• Friendly, courteous, pleasant with all types of people.
• Ability to learn and handle new technology as introduced to the window covering and installation industry.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Telephone, written and verbal communication skills are critical when interfacing with all levels of Budget Blinds staff and clients.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and can climb up and down ladders.
• Ability to set up and use scaffolding (not afraid of heights)
• Ability to pull a trailer.
• Flexible working hours. Possible hotel overnight if needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent completed education level.
