Description
The Arc Western Montana is seeking a creative, compassionate Activities Coordinator to lead engaging, meaningful day-program activities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This is an exciting opportunity to build a career in human services while making a daily difference. The successful candidate will enjoy planning experiences, supporting others, and working in a collaborative team environment in a supervisory capacity.
This is a Monday to Friday position, 8:00am - 4:00pm.
Position: Activities Coordinator
Location: Missoula, MT 59801
What We Offer:Starting Pay: $20 per hour with an increase to $21 per hour after completing our Train the Trainer series

- Supervise and coordinate daily activity programs
- Plan creative, purposeful group and individual activities
- Provide delegation and support to Direct Support Professionals
- Ensure accurate electronic documentation
- Support individuals during community outings and group events
- Assist with daily care needs, meals, and medication administration as needed
- Apply Mandt techniques to support positive behavior
What We're Looking For:
- Compassion and respect for the individuals we support
- Dependability and a strong work ethic
- Minimum age of 18
- A valid driver license held for at least 3 years with a mostly clear record
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, including electronic documentation
- Some leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
- Experience in Day Services or a similar program in, for example, elder care
