REIC Rentals is seeking a motivated, customer and safety-focused Yard Technician with Class A CDL certification to join our growing team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys tinkering with and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment and delivering equipment for our customer locally.

• Yard Operations & Equipment Readiness
• Safe Transport & Delivery of Equipment using pick‑up truck and trailer
• Customer‑Facing Service

You’ll split time between maintaining a clean, organized yard and delivering equipment to customer job sites.

• Inspect, clean, and prepare equipment for rent‑ready status
• Check fluid levels, fuel equipment, and perform basic preventative maintenance
• Assist mechanics and shop team as needed
• Organize yard layout for efficiency and safety
• Load and unload equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory counts
• Keep yard, wash bay, and work areas clean and safe
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

• Safely transport heavy equipment to and from customer job sites using REIC RENTALS pick up truck and trailer
• Perform proper load securement and safety inspections
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately
• Communicate delivery updates with dispatch and store team
• Provide professional, customer‑first service at job sites
• Comply with DOT regulations and company policies

Schedule: Monday–Friday. During the spring and summer, there will be an on‑call rotation on Saturdays.

• Valid Class A CDL (required)
• Clean driving record
• Experience hauling heavy equipment preferred
• Familiarity with load securement regulations
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Ability to operate forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment (or willingness to learn)
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Professional attitude with customers and team members
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
• Frequent walking, bending, climbing, and standing
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Comfortable working around heavy machinery
• Willingness to work overtime when needed
