Houston, TX & Pearland, TX Part-Time Pay: $25-30 per hour, dependent on experience

Language Kids World, the leader in early foreign language teaching in the Houston area, is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Spanish Teacher to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to inspire and educate students in an immersive and engaging environment. As a teacher in our programs, you will play a crucial role in fostering a love for the Spanish language and culture among young learners.

We provide teachers with a rich and comprehensive curriculum to engage young learners.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that promote language acquisition and cultural understanding.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to language immersion, where students of all backgrounds feel respected, valued, and included, celebrating diversity, and promoting cross-cultural understanding.
• Incorporate interactive and creative teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Organize and lead cultural workshops, games, and excursions to enhance students' exposure to the Spanish language and culture.
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their language development.
• Prioritize the safety and well-being of students at all times, maintaining a secure and supervised environment and adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and enriching students’ experience.

• A genuine love and desire to work with children.
• Proficiency in Spanish (native or near-native fluency).
• Experience teaching Spanish to children or adolescents, preferably in an educational setting.
• English language skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Enthusiasm for working with young learners and a passion for promoting cross-cultural understanding.
• Demonstrable reliability and consistency in your attendance, preparation, and execution of class activities, earning the trust and confidence of students, parents, and fellow staff members.
• Flexibility, creativity, and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Valid work authorization in the USA.
• Reliable transportation.

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish Language/Literature, or a related field.
• Experience living or studying in a Spanish-speaking environment.
