Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) – High Tech

Missouri City, TX. Care Options For Kids is a home health care company that provides 1:1 care at clients’ homes. The position requires care of a high‑acuity, one‑year‑old male patient in the Arcola, TX area who requires tracheostomy and ventilator support.

The nurse begins each shift by reviewing patient information in the Point of Care platform and meeting with the care team. After managing the patient’s ventilator, feeding, bathing and medication administration, the nurse engages in therapeutic activities, documents all care electronically, and informs the next shift before concluding the day.

• Provide one‑to‑one nursing care in a home environment.
• Administer medication per physician orders.
• Provide physician‑ordered treatments: nutrition via feeding tube, tracheostomy care, suctioning nasal/oral/endotracheal, ventilation care, seizure assessment and treatment.

• Current, active Florida RN or LPN license.
• Current BLS CPR certification (obtained in‑person).
• Experience with G‑tube, trach, ventilator care, or willingness to train.
• TB test results or chest x‑ray within 30 days.
• Alzheimer’s training (provided by Care Options For Kids at no cost).
