- Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

The Opportunity
The Utilities Clerk will assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department, and assist customers on the store floor as needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Properly bag groceries for customers when needed and carry out groceries if requested.
- Maintain store cleanliness and safety: retrieve and store carts, run price checks, assist with go‑backs, check stand upkeep, and remove waste from parking area.
Physical Requirements
Typical fast‑paced grocery store environment, including lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, visual and auditory requirements.
