Your Impact

As a Tax Manager, you’ll work with a diverse portfolio of clients and lead various aspects of tax engagements.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates
• Conducting and reviewing complex tax research
• Responding to IRS and state notices
• Advising clients on strategic financial and tax planning matters
• Managing multiple engagements, budgets, and client expectations
• Supporting business development efforts by meeting with prospects and preparing proposals
• Driving process improvements and identifying opportunities to expand client services
• Participating in industry events, client workshops, and educational sessions
• Creating thought leadership content such as tax update articles or blog posts
• Mentoring and developing junior team members
• Supporting firm recruiting initiatives and candidate engagement

What You Bring

• Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory role
• Coaching and evaluating team performance
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Active CPA license (must be in good standing)
• 5–7+ years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
• Experience with CCH Axcess, Sure Prep, BNA Tax Planner, and Quick Books Online required
• Familiarity with Practice CS and Power BI is a plus
