The Temporary Fiscal Operations Specialist (FOS) is a member of the Operations team, working closely and collaboratively with colleagues and the Assistant Director of Operations. As the Temporary Fiscal Operations Specialist
, you will be responsible for monitoring financial operations related to accounting functions such as analyzing, monitoring, preparing and reporting financial information. This position involves the preparation of financial reports and invoicing to meet internal and external reporting requirements.
Todo Por Mi Familia (TPMF) is a federally funded nationwide program created by Seneca Family of Agencies in March 2020. TPMF has worked tirelessly to locate and support families that were separated at the border, connecting them with free mental health services they need. TPMF offers the following services to eligible families: (1) pre-reunification counseling to still-separated families awaiting reunification; (2) parenting and psychosocial supports to reunified families in the United States;
(3) referrals to behavioral health treatment to still separated children and reunified families in the United States; and (4) related case management services. So far, we have reunited over 1,300 families, connecting them with more than 500 mental health providers across 39 states.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Prepare monthly invoice for Federal contract including required backup and specific forms that accompany invoice submission
- Review and approve providers invoices, investigate and follow up on past due invoices as needed
- Track specific details for invoicing purposes such as travel costs, consultant, and subcontractor invoices
- Organize online filing and tracking systems to ensure proper documentation as well as assist accounting team in continually improving documentation processes
- Support Accounting Manager with the monthly Accounts Receivable account reconciliations
- Work alongside cross-functional partners in accounting, program leadership, and contracted mental health providers throughout the US
- Support the execution of compliance programs, internal audits, external audits, and government audits
- Maintains central files of all program activities for internal and external audit purposes
REQUIRED:
- Education/experience requirements:
- Bachelor s degree + 1 year of applicable work experience OR
- Associate degree or equivalent + 2 year of applicable work experience OR
- High school diploma/GED + 3 years of applicable work experience.
- Applicable work experience includes any paid or unpaid experience in accounting or financial operations
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, pass computer literacy assessment
- At least 21 years of age
- Clearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal licensing or certification requirements
- Valid driver s license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policy
PREFERRED:
- Previous experience working with Federal contracts
- Accounting-related Excel experience
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

- Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications
