Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $70.00 to $86.00 per hour.

• Support day-to-day accounting operations across multiple departments, including payables, receivables, general ledger, and reporting.
• Assist with coordinating work streams tied to the organization’s system transition while maintaining routine accounting activities.
• Help prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for internal and external reporting needs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and ensure timely completion of closing activities.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements and provide operational guidance to department teams during periods of system change.

• Ability to work effectively within a publicly traded company environment with strict reporting deadlines.
• Strong understanding of accounting workflows across various departments such as AP, AR, GL, tax, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms, with experience in system transitions or upgrades.
• Strong organization and communication skills to support multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment undergoing process and system changes.

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA or progress toward certification.
• Prior experience using major ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion or SAP.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a public company.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage detailed work while supporting wider departmental initiatives.
