Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for managing vendor invoices, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring accurate and timely payments. Experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry is a plus but not required.

• Process vendor invoices with accurate coding and timely payment
• Review and reconcile vendor statements; investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Respond to internal and external inquiries related to accounts payable
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records
• Process and verify employee expense reports
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare basic reports and analysis related to accounts payable activity
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and team members

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 1+ year of accounts payable experience; logistics or freight forwarding experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
